Yesterday, RIM’s head of gaming Anders Jeppsson announced that Angry Birds Space had finally landed on the Blackberry Playbook. This is certainly pretty good news for Playbook owners but it looks like Jeppsson is not done with the teasing just yet. Yup, it looks like RIM’s head of gaming has another surprise in store for Playbook owners and teased that another high-profile app is on its way to the Playbook. Jeppsson has mentioned that this particular app will most likely be arriving Monday next week, but what could it be?
Once again, given Jeppsson’s position in the company, it’s safe to assume that the app will most likely be a game. Some have speculated that this game could very well be none other than Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light which RIM demoed on the Playbook nearly half a year ago. The app has yet to surface which has lead to speculation that this is the game that Jeppsson is referring to. In any case we will be keeping our eyes peeled so be sure to check back with us on Monday for the details!
