At long last, the HTC One X has been announced to arrive at AT&T when May 6th rolls around, delivering Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and an 8-megapixel camera which is capable of snapping a photo while performing a video recording session simultaneously – all for $199.99 alongside a new 2-year agreement, of course. The HTC One X will also be the first smartphone from AT&T that has HTC Sense 4 pre-loaded for a far more efficient and user friendly experience compared to the vanilla Ice Cream Sandwich layout. Not only that, you will find Beats by Dr. Dre Audio built-in to the hardware and software, which is yet another first in the world of smartphones.

Those who are interested in bringing one of these home can always place a pre-orders for the HTC One X from April 22nd onwards. Basically, if you are in the market for a flagship handset and cannot wait for the Samsung Galaxy S3 to be released or at least, announced, then the HTC One X would prove to be decent fodder – although Sony’s Xperia S would also be able to get the job done.
