Instagram for Android hits 1 million downloads in one dayIt was only yesterday that Instagram for Android had been launched. We know that the app was highly-anticipated but just how highly-anticipated was it? Well if Instagram’s stats are to be believed, it has been reported that the photography app for Android has been downloaded a whopping 1 million times on the day that it has been made available. The app was not launched bug-free though, but its developers were keeping a close eye and has since updated it to quash some of the issues some Android users were facing. Oddly enough support for some of the more recent phones, such as the HTC One X, is missing. We’re hoping that additional support for more Android phones will be added in the near future, but for Android users who have yet to get their hands on the app, head on down to Google Play for the download.
