Jaguar has pulled off the wraps on its latest automobile. The Jaguar XJ Ultimate Edition is claimed to be designed to be the pinnacle of the Jaguar XJ range of cars. And while you can expect any Jaguar to be simply amazing, the technological features that come with this car are just out of this world. The features which are highlighted in the luxurious yet spaceshippy car are a champagne cooler with two handcrafted Goran Hongell champagne glasses, a heated steering wheel, Apple’s iPads embedded in the seats for the rear passengers and the coup de gras, a whopping 20-speaker surround system custom-made by Meridian Audio.
With the 20 speakers supported by 15-channels of amplification, Meridian have used what the company calls “Trifield” technology to create the illusion that every occupant in the car including the driver is listening to music that is directly aimed at them. On top of the 20 speakers, the system also incorporates two subwoofers which complete a virtual 7.1 surround sound system that can put out a mind-blowing 825 watts of audio. With regards to the iPads resting in the rear part of the front seats, there are multimedia related features preloaded on the iPad that are integrated with the car. For now, there has been no news on the pricing or release date of the technologically advanced car but when it does hit the market, we can all be sure that it, like all Jaguars will definitely be at the higher end of the pricing spectrum.
