Fans of the hilarious MAD Magazine can now look crazy in public while bawling away in laughter with your eyes transfixed on your iPad. The magazine which has been tickling readers at their funny bones for decades is now available to you if you own an iPad. Given Apple’s strict standards when allowing applications through to their App Store, this one with its openly rude and mocking satirical humor along with the many innuendos, seems to have wriggled through.

Perhaps the fact that it is an iconic publication to many helped it along its way. The app will allow users to download old issues of the magazine for $1.99 while the current issues will be priced at $4.99. This is cheaper when compared to the printed versions which cost $4.99 for the older issues and $5.99 for the current ones. On top of that, they have even allowed current print subscribers free access to the iPad version.

If you are one of those who wish to get a full year’s subscription which will entitle you to all of the 6 issues of the bi-monthly magazine it will cost you $9.99. The app is available for free and it comes with a few free features but as stated above, if you want full editions of the hilarious (this being an understatement) magazines, you will have to pony up a price definitely worth paying. If you want to get your bi-monthly dosage of laughter, click here to go directly to the App Store and check out the app for yourself.
