Last year when Microsoft announced their plans to buy Skype, it was also announced that the company would be seeing Skype integrated across a variety of their products, such as Windows Phone and Microsoft’s gaming console, the Xbox 360. While a beta version of Skype for Windows Phone has since been launched, it looks like work on the integration for the Xbox platform has begun. Job postings on Microsoft’s career page has revealed that the Redmond company is looking to hire a Software Development Engineer and an Engineering Manager that will help facilitate the integration of Skype onto the gaming console. Unfortunately these listings don’t really gives us any clue as to how the app will eventually look like. No word on when the app will launch, but it’s good to know that Microsoft is working on it.
