It does seem as though the Motorola Droid RAZR might be starting to go through a soak test instead of the originally intended date last weekend, and Motorola declared on the testers’ forums that they will shelve plans for said 6.12.181 update, and will instead take the opportunity to test Ice Cream Sandwich distribution. The message on the forums has been removed for some time already, but should the Motorola Droid RAZR (see our Droid RAZR MAXX review) actually go through an Ice Cream Sandwich soak test sometime in the middle of this week, it will be the right signal to indicate that a consumer level distribution of the update to RAZR owners is just a matter of a few weeks now. Are you stoked about this bit of news, or do you think your Droid RAZR runs just fine at the moment and needs no software updates?
