O2 Second Carrier to Offer Samsung Galaxy S3

After Vodafone made the announcement that it would be carrying the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S3, it was the first carrier to make the move. Now however, another British carrier has officially joined the fray. O2 has confirmed to the folks over at Pocket-lint that they will also be carrying the much anticipated Samsung flagship smartphone. It comes as no surprise that even if the Samsung Galaxy S3 (The Next Galaxy) will undergo what can be considered a global launching, the smartphone which will be unveiled in London on 3rd May so it is expected that British carriers would be among the first few to get it.

A spokesman from O2 said, “We are excited about the next Samsung Galaxy that’s why it’ll be coming to us too. It’s not a Voda exclusive…. but not much more for us to say at this stage!” We are pretty sure that as the all-important May 3rd date looms closer, there will be many more announcements in the same vein as this one since this is just a start. It is only a matter of time until it lands in the States but for now we don’t know when nor do we know which carriers will be getting it.
