All you PS Vita owners out there, here is some news for you – the PS Vita System Software Update v1.65 will finally be made available to the masses, so you might want to go ahead and make a beeline for it. Of course, just what else can you expect with an update apart from changes and improvements to the overall hardware experience? For starters, v1.65 will offer a “Notification Alert” option that will be part of the Settings menu, allowing you to take control of incoming alerts by toggling alerts on or off. Not only that, “After 10 minutes” is thrown into the mix to the time options under Power Save Settings. There will also be an Arrow icon that appears when the PS Vita discovers new activities in the LiveArea, and Caps Lock will also be supported in the On Screen Keyboard – small touches, and yet they do add a whole lot of ease to your user experience. You can opt to download the firmware directly via Wi-Fi, or hook it up to a PS3 or a PC/Mac and perform the update using the Content Manager.
