Wrapping up your cables to take on a trip with you can be quite a tricky task. If they are not bundled properly, opening your laptop bag upon arriving at your destination will see you with a bunch of cables and wires that have “magically” knotted themselves during the trip, ultimately forcing you to waste a good 5-10 minutes trying to untangle and sort everything out. Well the good news for MacBook users with MagSafe adapters is that a Kickstarter project dubbed Wrap Up has been launched that aims to help solve your tangled cable woes.

Wrap Up is essentially a simple plastic cage that allows for the larger cable portion of the MagSafe to be wrapped up, while not focusing on easing the pressure off the portion of the cable that is closer to the power brick. Those with MagSafe adapters are probably familiar with their cables fraying near the power brick from being bent too much or too hard over the course of its lifespan, leading to the charger not working completely, or by exposing the wires leading to a possible dangerous situation. Granted there are other cable management options out there, but if Wrap Up sounds like the kind of system you’ve been looking for, head on over to its Kickstarter page for the details.
