Google Play has been a very busy place since yesterday, registering over a million downloads for Instagram itself. Well, things might just get even busier this time around with word that social TV app Zeebox has just arrived on the Android platform on Google Play, albeit in beta form. With Zeebox, you can share what you view with friends, check out tweets that are related to their favorite TV series, in addition to gaining control of your TV and Virgin Media TiVo box from within the app itself. At first glance, the Zeebox for Android seems to be a pure clone of the iOS version, but it will launch sans the updates that were recently introduced alongside the Apple version. You can still make your program selection, share and control what you want to view from the Android app itself, but you cannot make use of the 7-day planner in order to set reminders for programmes. This is a fully free app, and will not ride on the freemium model, so what are you waiting for? Go ahead and download it already!
