I have absolutely no idea how many ceilings have the Angry Birds franchise broken over the past couple of years (it is already the fastest growing mobile game), but plenty of milestones have been achieved so far and today, we celebrate yet another – the total number of times that Angry Birds has been downloaded is over a billion, and Rovio says that “This is only the beginning of our story, keep your eyes peeled for what’s coming up next from Rovio!” Since our favorite group of angry avian friends have already made it all the way to space, we are kept awake wondering just what the next frontier for Rovio will be, and once the Angry Birds fad dies down (if it does), will Rovio be able to come up with another successful launch of a different game apart from Angry Birds? Happy Pigs might be a title worth exploring….
