Planning on getting your hands on a Windows Phone handset? Well if you’re making the switch to the WIndows Phone platform and you’re looking for an inexpensive way to try the platform out, AT&T has outed the Samsung Focus 2. The handset will be priced at $49.99 on a new two-year contract and will arrive on AT&T’s network come 20th of May, making it appear to be a very affordable 4G LTE handset with a 4” Super AMOLED display if you’re in the market for such a device. It will pack a front-facing VGA camera, a 5MP rear-facing camera with 720p HD video recording and will run on the latest build of Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. Apart from that, it will come with the usual features of Windows Phone: this includes voice control and Bing integration. The phone will be available in “pure white” and will measure 10.98mm thick and weighs around 4.3oz. Head on over to AT&T’s website where you can enter your email address and be notified when the device has been made available. Anyone planning on getting their hands on the Samsung Focus 2, or is the Nokia Lumia 900 a more attractive, albeit slightly more expensive option?
