2K has just announced that the launching for BioShock Infinite which was originally slated for October this year has now been pushed back to February of next year. For now, the company has announced that the exact date it is looking to launch the game will be February 26th. President and Creative Director Ken Levine said, “When we announced the release date of BioShock Infinite in March, we felt pretty good about the timing. Since then, we’ve uncovered opportunities to make Infinite into something more extraordinary.” He adds that since the team behind the game need the time to deliver what can now apparently be the best Infinite possible, the launch date has to be pushed back. The game is set to launch for the PlayStation 3 console; and by the time February 2013 rolls around, hopefully the game rolls out for its anxious fans and is worth the delay.
