Google has just updated their own Blogger service’s signup process, where you can attach your Google+ profile to it. This rollout was a rather quiet one, where there is not much fanfare surrounding it. While the older sign-up process required you to sign-up for each of the services through the manual way, and Google’s streamlining process allows new users to be immediately equipped with a Gmail and Google+ account, the moment your Google account has been registered. Despite being launched before January, it took a fair amount of time for folks to catch up with it, and Blogger too, took their time in jumping on board this bandwagon for a new unified approach.

A Google spokesperson said, “We’re working to develop a consistent sign-up flow across our different products as part of our efforts to create an intuitive, beautifully simple, Google-wide user experience. Making it quick and easy to create a Google Account and a Google+ profile enables new users to take advantage of everything Google can offer.”

To put it in a nutshell, Blogger will now join YouTube, Docs, Search, Gmail, and Google+ in the updated signup flow. I guess Google is looking to unify most of their services in order to make it easier to navigate through the Internet.
