There is nothing official just yet concerning an update to the Dell Latitude range of notebooks, but leaks do point in the general direction that something like that is happening. Dutch site Tweakers.net claim that Dell’s 14″ refresh efforts will carry the model number 6430u. The rumored specifications point towards a 1366 x 768 display, a choice of either a dual-core i3, i5 or i7 Ivy Bridge processor, as well as a chassis that measures 20.9mm thick – not exactly a supermodel proportion here, so those who want something light might want to check out a slimmer Ultrabook instead. Those who tend to be on-the-go and want a notebook for business purposes might find this enterprise-ready Ultrabook suitable for their needs, as it will run on Intel’s vPro platform as well, where it will come with a smartcard reader and an optional fingerprint scanner. You can have up to 256GB of storage space in the form of a SSD, in addition to having up to 8GB RAM. No idea on pricing or availability, but stay tuned. [Translated Page]
