Yes, so you have had your contribution into making Diablo 3 the fastest selling PC game to date, in addition to spending hundreds of hours on it since the game first arrived, going through the motions of multiple error messages, and yet returning for more ‘punishment’. We also heard of how Blizzard issued a hotfix for the Monk class – it seems that Monks are not the only ones affected, as these hotfixes will ensure you need not download a new patch and yet get to savor the game to its maximum. Some of the hotfixes that we will look at will go live the moment they are implemented, while others might need the entire realm to reboot before going into effect.

Generally speaking, players will now receive an error message when attempting to remove a gem from an item without any sockets, instead of disconnecting them. At least you would know what went wrong, and your casting will be properly interrupted when attacked while performing resurrect on a fallen group member. As for the Demon Hunter, Smoke Screen’s duration has been reduced from 2 seconds to 1 second, although the tooltip says otherwise, while Skill Rune – Lingering Fog will increase the duration of Smoke Screen to 1.5 seconds.

As for the Wizard, Skill Rune – Cascade will fire only 1 new missile per kill instead of three prior to the fix, while Skill Rune – Force Armor will cap the amount of damage absorbed from a single attack at 100% of a player’s maximum life.

How have these hotfixes affected your gameplay?
