The publisher has officially announced that the game would be available on PlayStation Vita handheld consoles come June 12th for North American markets. While gameplay in general is expected to be similar to its PlayStation 3 counterpart, some parts of it will utilize the PlayStation Vita’s new controls. This includes the device’s touchscreen and rear touchpad, allowing users to “zoom in on captivating cut-scenes, peek around corners, interrogate enemies, cycle through weapons, and perform rapid attacks with their knife.” On top of that, if you own the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for the PlayStation 3, you will be able to use Transfarring to sync your saved files with your PlayStation 3.
