A little over a week ago, Mass Effect 3’s Rebellion DLC was outed ahead of its announcement, this caused the title to appear briefly before getting pulled. Well if you’re a fan of the Mass Effect franchise, you’ll be pleased to hear that BioWare has officially announced the Mass Effect 3 Rebellion DLC pack. The DLC will be free of charge if you have an Online Pass for ME3 and is expected to arrive on Xbox Live, PSN and the PC come 29th of May. However PlayStation 3 owners living in Europe will have to wait until the 30th of May for the download.

The DLC will focus on the multiplayer aspect of the game two new maps for co-op play. This includes Firebase Jade and Firebase Goddess, while old maps will also be getting an update and new objectives as well. Expect more customization options along with the introduction of six new characters like the Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator, Vorcha Soldier and Sentinel, Ex-Cerberus Adept and Vanguard, along with three new weapons which includes the Cerberus Harrier Assault Rifle, Reegar Carbine Shotgun, and Krysae Sniper Rifle.
