Microsoft sends out invites to a Windows Phone Developer Summit in JuneInterested in seeing what Microsoft might have up their sleeves for Windows Phone? It seems that Microsoft has recently started sending out invites to an event they will be holding called Developer Summit. The event will be held in San Francisco, California, and will take place on the 20th and 21st of June. Not much is known about the event itself, although the name itself is a pretty good indication that its focus here would be on developers and creating apps for the Windows Phone environment, much like RIM’s Blackberry DevCon, Apple’s WWDC and Google’s I/O. Will we be treated to a possible sneak peek at the upcoming Windows Phone 8 “Apollo” platform? That’s certainly a question that’s on everyone’s minds but we guess we will have to wait and see before we are able to confirm anything.
