Being unable to make use of your legs can be quite the depressing thought, and I am sure that there are those who feel as though the whole world around them has collapsed simply because they are wheelchair bound – even more so for those who were once extremely active physically. Well, technology has certainly come a long way in making sure that even the disabled can enjoy a higher quality of life – and case in point, the Power Caster that enables those sitting in wheelchairs to be able to launch a lure in the direction of your choice.

Just how does the Power Caster work? Well, this particular caster is operated using push buttons, and for those who rely on their chin to get things done, there is a chin joystick and a sip & puff controller to help you out. The Power Caster is snapped onto the wheelchair, and it obviously has a power source to keep it going, with the ability to be able to rotate in the direction of your choice before you launch it. The system will reel in any fish that you land the moment it is hooked, although there are no guarantees of a catch each time. Sure, the Power Caster might have been out in the market for quite some time already, but that doesn’t mean it is any less cool.
