RIM and TomTom announces partnership to bring real-time traffic onto Blackberry apps

If you’ve enjoyed TomTom’s services when it comes to offering real-time mapping, navigation and traffic data, you will be pleased to learn that if you own a Blackberry device,  those services will be available to you on official Blackberry apps such as Blackberry Traffic, Blackberry Maps and Blackberry Locate Services. On top of that, the traffic information provided by TomTom will also be made available for Blackberry developers to use in their apps, making it a pretty enticing offer to developers who are thinking about coding location-based apps for the Blackberry platform. Will the result of this partnership make its way onto Blackberry 10 handsets and devices as well?
