Remember our coverage of the Samsung Series 7 Chronos just a few days ago? Well, it seems that the South Korean conglomerate has come up with the Samsung Series 7 Gamer, where it will feature a 17.3″ Full HD LCD display as well as high end components underneath the hood to ensure an optimal PC gaming experience. Other hardware specifications include high quality Dolby Home Theater surround sound, rich NVIDIA Geforce graphics and a 3rd generation Intel Core i7 processor that ought to make short work of any hardcore processing that comes your way. When in gaming mode, there will be a distinctive graphic that appears on the screen which will identify the active mode. The main gaming keys on the keyboard will be highlighted on the keyboard in red, where a light will then be turned on around the speakers, where it will pulsate according to match the game’s sounds.

The Windows key and touchpad will also be disabled whenever a game is inserted, doing away with the possibility of hitting the wrong part of the keyboard by accident while playing. The keyboard itself will also boast ergonomic U-shaped key caps, where a 2.7mm keystroke and separated arrow keys will allow you to engage in rapid play while minimizing the amount of errors.

Other modes include General Mode, Quiet Mode and Power Saver Mode, but you certainly would not have purchased the Samsung Series 7 Gamer just to run on all three other modes most of the time, no? [Press Release]
