Samsung might be extremely hot on the Android operating system at this point in time with the recent announcement of their power packed Galaxy S3, but that does not mean they do not have their attention elsewhere. Samsung is considered as one of the founding members of the Tizen OS, so it makes perfect sense for the Tizen developer conference to feature a developer device that was manufactured by who else but Samsung. The smartphone will be the plaything of Tizen OS developers for some time to come, letting Tizen apps run on its ARM-based 1.2GHz dual-core processor. The use of ARM technology is also an interesting twist, considering how Intel is another company that backs the Tizen operating system. Other hardware specifications of this Samsung manufactured hardware include a 720p HD display, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, NFC support, and a microUSB port.
