Croteam did confirm that they are still developing Serious Sam 3 for a rollout on the Xbox 360 platform after the PC version was released to the masses earlier this year. Fans of the console will have to exercise one of nature’s greatest disciplines – patience, for a while more at least, as Croteam did mention that they could take up to four more months at the minimum before the Xbox 360 even has a chance of seeing a release. A Facebook status on Croteam’s page mentioned, “Regarding Xbox 360 SS3, it is in development, so we are on it since PC was released. It does require time to do all kinds of optimisations, first to fit all in memory and to get decent framerate, as 360 is rather old hardware now.” Not only that, there is also the possibility of PS3 owners to be able to receive Serious Sam 3, considering how Croteam mentioned that the PS3 has “256MB+256MB memory specs, which programmers here rpcomment as even more programming and optimisation work to get it right.”
