Drinking and playing computer games does sound like the perfect combo for some gamers, but if you’d rather remain sober while obliterating your enemies, the Arkeg might still be a device worth checking out purely for its novelty value. Yup, as the name has subtly implied, the Arkeg is an arcade gaming machine that has a built-in cupboard below it that will house a five gallon keg of your favorite brew! Just like pretty much all beers that you get on tap, the beer that comes out of the tap on the side of the machine will be cooled by a CO2 draft system, thus ensuring the gamer and their friends a nice cold mug of beer.

Apart from the fact that it offers beer dispensing capabilities, the Arkeg will allow for customization of the machine through the use of decals, backlight marquees and even a gamepad if the old school joysticks aren’t doing it for you. As far as the games are concerned, the Arkeg will come preloaded with several games that old school gamers might recall rather fondly. This includes Arch Rivals, Centipede, Championship Sprint, Gauntlet I and II, Gunsmoke, Marble Madness and all three original Mortal Kombat games. So how much will this cost you? If you’d like to buy the Arkeg for yourself, expect to fork out a whopping $4,000 for the machine, or you can always rent it for $150 a day. Head on over to its website for the details.
