If skateboarding sounds like fun to you but you’ve never really dared to hop on one yourself, games like Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series of games will let you experience the joys of skateboarding without any injuries such as sprains, cuts and/or broken bones. Well the good news is that if you were looking forward to the Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD remake of the game, Tony Hawk himself took to his Twitter account and announced that the game would be arriving on Microsoft’s Xbox Live and Sony’s PSN this June.

For those unfamiliar, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD is a remake of the original game but will see a bump in graphics thanks to the use of the Unreal Engine. The game will feature select levels from the first two games and according to Hawk himself, depending on how well received the game is, other past levels could also find their way onto the game in the future. So if skateboarding games are your kind of thing, June will be a date you’ll most definitely want to mark down on your calendar.
