Sony Ericsson Xperia Play 4GGood news Verizon Sony Xperia Play owners, if you have yet to receive the notification, it seems that Verizon is currently pushing out an update for your device. Unfortunately this isn’t the highly anticipated Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, but updates are still good and are usually welcomed anyway, right? In any case some of the features the update will be bringing to your handset includes the ability to record 720p HD videos in continuous autofocus. VZ Navigator has been added with support for 3D maps along with Video On-Demand, and will be bumped up to Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread. According to Verizon, the update will also improve the user experience and delivery method of preloaded games along with a couple of bug fixes just to name a few. The full changelog can be found at Verizon’s website so if you’ve yet to update your device, what are you waiting for?
