Motorola Xoom owners on Verizon’s network, if you have upgraded your tablet to LTE or are still running on CDMA, fret not as it appears that an update is headed your way. Motorola Feedback Members have reported that they have started receiving emails that invites them to be part of a soak test for an update in the near future. It is not known if this update merely consists of bug fixes and slight improvements, or if it could be the highly anticipated Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. However given the recent leaks of Verizon’s internal testing system and Motorola’s promise of an Android 4.0 update for Q2 2012, some are speculating that this soak test could very well be for the ICS update. Either way until things can be confirmed, we suggest not getting your hopes up just yet, and be sure to check back with us in the future as we will be keeping you updated on the situation!
