The ZTE V66 has decided that it is time to pay a visit to the FCC in order to pick up an approval – after all, this is the place to get your nod of approval from the relevant authorities before you are given the green light to proliferate and have a go at the mass market. The ZTE V66 will be a 7″ tablet that is tipped to arrive from the bosom of Verizon Wireless in due time. Unfortunately for us, not a whole lot of technical details can be derived from the FCC listing, although the documents do point towards the existence of CDMA and LTE wireless network support, not to mention wireless standards such as 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. There is nothing concrete about the processor type yet, although word on the street points to a 1.2GHz dual core processor, a built-in camera, as well as the 7″ display packing in a resolution count of 1280 x 800 pixels.
