The MacBook Air does have a pretty sleek exterior and premium feel to it, which is why we’re not surprised to find that there are many MacBook Air clones running around in today’s market. Adding to that list will be the Android Book which the folks at Netbook News have managed to get their hands on during Computex 2012. Upon first glance you could be forgiven for thinking that this is a MacBook Air, but upon closer look you might realize that it’s not and that instead of running on OS X, it will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The device is powered by a 1.2GHz A10 processor and sports a 13.3” display. It will come with a USB 2.0 port, audio jack, mini HDMI, a full sized card reader, 3G connectivity and will be available in either 8/16/32GB SSD configurations and is expected to be priced starting at $149. Interestingly there was also a Windows 8 version of the device available and featured a 1366×768 display resolution. It is powered by Intel’s Cedar Trail CPU of the N2600 and N2800 variety with 2GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 16GB-128GB SSD configurations. This particular version is expected to retail starting at $175.
