Diablo 3 fans, here is a little something for you – Diablo 3 patch 1.0.3a is now out and live in the Americas. The usual rules apply here – those who are not living in the Americas will not be prompted to download patch 1.0.3a until the patch is live in your home region, so folks who are logging in from a European or Asian client will have to sit out on this one and exercise this virtue called patience – at least until it arrives in your home region. Having said that, those who have applied this patch in the Americas will not be able to log into Europe or Asia using Global Play, at least until the mentioned regions have been patched.

Among the bug fixes include one that involves Zombie Bears who seemingly are ineffective in attacking targets on slopes. No longer will your Zombie Bears live up to their name as zombies, as you won’t find them getting stuck on objects with which they shouldn’t have any collision. Not only that, equipped items from now on will receive “wear-and-tear” durability damage at half the previous rate.

There was also a bug that involved Unique monsters not dropping the right number of delicious loot when slain, which bodes well for the masses, don’t you think so? You can also no longer create fake achievement links when Diablo 3 patch 1.0.3a is applied. How has your Diablo 3 experience been so far?
