Droid Incredible 4G LTE pegged for possible 5th July release on VerizonThe HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE was a handset that was officially announced back at CTIA in May. However many Verizon subscribers have been wondering what has happened to the device after its announcement. So far there have only been teaser videos and speculation as to when the handset will be launched, but now thanks to the folks at Droid-Life, a release date for handset has been revealed to be for the 5th of July 2012. This was discovered at the Equipment Guide page which puts the release date as 7/5/2012. At the moment, pricing for the handset is set at $199 along with a new 2-year contract, although a $50 mail-in rebate isn’t completely out of the question which should drop the handset down to a more affordable $149. Assuming this is the case, the Droid Incredible 4G LTE should appeal to those who want a decent Android smartphone but would rather not fork out the money for the Samsung Galaxy S3. Either way we will be keeping our eyes and ears peeled, so check back with us again on the 5th of July to see if this information pans out! So, who’s planning on getting the Droid Incredible 4G LTE instead of the Galaxy S3?
