Ematic has introduced tablets in the past, so it is not strange to see their latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich powered tablet, the eGlide Pro X, to be introduced. It will comes with a 4:3 aspect ratio for its 9.7″ display which is more often than not more suitable for e-book reading than to watch movies, in addition to sporting competitive programs and apps. Ematic claims that the eGlide Pro X is “the perfect device for professionals’ on-the-go or for personal use”, although we will have to get our hands on it ourselves to find out whether that is true or not.

Some of the hardware specifications of the eGlide Pro X include a three-axis gyroscope, a 1.2GHz processor, a 400MHz GPU for graphics intensive apps, built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal memory accompanied by 5GB of cloud storage for you to play around with, and a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes. There is also an integrated voice recorder and HDMI capability for you to view movies and images on your TV. If you are interested, the eGlide Pro X can be yours for $219.99. [Press Release]
