What is life if there is no beauty in the world? Well, you would definitely be pleased to view the Esquemáticos hand-embroidered schematics, where it was specially designed by artist Amor Munoz. This particular series of beautiful hand-embroidered schematics have been sewn with conductive thread and electronic components, enabling them to function as machines, so to speak. Individual installations will be able to emit sound and/or light, depending on what kind of interaction it was built for. Take the 555 embroidery for example – that will be able to churn out a soundscape in response to graphite scribbles. Apart from that, the Heart Rate Sensor will definitely resonate with many of us as it pulses an LED and speaker to the rhythm of one’s heart rate. Who would have thought that the essence of “soft circuits” could be captured in so delectable a manner? It would be nice if these were to be mass produced, and companies find creative use for them in their waiting lounges and other places where customers and potential clients mingle around.
