Judge dismisses Apple and Motorolas lawsuitsApple is currently up against a good many high profile tech companies when it comes to legal disputes, i.e. HTC, Samsung and Motorola. While the case between HTC and Samsung are still ongoing, the case between Apple and Motorola could be coming to an end, at least as far as the US courts are concerned. Judge Richard Posner has dismissed lawsuits filed by Apple and Motorola against each other claiming copyright infringement. In his ruling, he wrote that the reason for the dismissal is because both parties had failed to produce enough evidence to create a triable issue. It seems that this ruling could also set a precedent for the other lawsuits filed by both Apple and Motorola in the US courts, but we guess the battle still wages on in other countries where both Apple and Motorola have a presence.
