Some of you guys might have noticed a concept video floating about dubbed Nokia Air. It seems that some have mistakenly interpreted this to mean that these are hidden or leaked features for Nokia’s Symbian platform. That is not the case and is instead purely a concept video created by Ben Peckett at Finnish company, Luxus. That being said, it is still a pretty interesting concept that we wouldn’t mind seeing Nokia integrate it into their future Symbian/Windows Phone handsets.

So what is Nokia Air? Well based on the video, what we have gleaned is that Nokia Air is a cloud syncing service, similar to how the mobile version of Google Chrome on Android 4.0 handsets can pull the history and browsing data from your desktop version of Chrome. For those wondering, this is also a similar feature that Apple plans to roll out with iOS 6 and OS X Mountain Lion later this year where they will unify their operating systems. Either way it is still a concept at this point and there is no word if Nokia has any plans to take it and make it a reality, but in the meantime you can check out the concept video above. What do you guys think? Does Nokia need “Nokia Air” to compete against iOS and Android?
