Samsung looks determined not to let Apple rain on their parade with recent news that Cupertino had already filed a sales injunction request to a US court to prevent the sales of Samsung’s latest flagship, the Galaxy S3. The South Korean conglomerate has shrugged the filing of that injunction off their shoulders, and certainly did not have any cold feet when it came to revealing the Samsung Galaxy S3’s availability across a slew of carriers here in the US. Samsung’s statement reads as this, “Samsung believes Apple’s request is without merit. We will vigorously oppose the request. We would also like to assure consumers that the U.S. launch and sales of the GALAXY S III will proceed as planned.”

It would be interesting to see just what kind of moves Apple and Samsung will pull off next, respectively. The next generation iPhone, after all, is set to be released soon if rumors and predictions surrounding it are anything to go by, and with the Galaxy S3 receiving generally favorable reviews all round, you know for sure the competition is heating up!
