Both Samsung and Apple have been battling it out with each other for the longest time ever. Both sides have had their victories and their losses, but in case you haven’t been following the news, the legal battle has been about patents with Apple claiming that Samsung had violated upon some of theirs. However in a twist to the entire proceedings, it seems that Samsung has gone ahead and sued the Australian patent commissioner, claiming that the patents were “inappropriately” granted to Apple and that they never should have been granted as they were duplicates of earlier filings. Samsung is now looking to get those patents invalidated which in turn would pretty much cause the dismissal of the entire case. A hearing is expected to take place on the 25th of June, so we guess we will have to wait until then to find out what happens. Be sure to check back with us for the updates!
