Yesterday, a couple of new phones from Sony’s Xperia line were announced – the Sony Xperia miro, and the Sony Xperia tipo. While no pricing details were revealed about either handset, here we are with a benchmark of a yet unannounced smartphone from Sony, where it is known as the Sony LT30p. Originally seen in the AnTuTu benchmark results today, the Sony LT30p might very well be the Sony Xperia Mint, although do bear in mind that “Mint” is in all probability and likelihood, a code name, so the actual and official naming convention has yet to be revealed. We do know that the Sony LT30p will be powered by the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system according to the benchmark results, and an underclocked dual-core 1GHz Snapdragon S4 seem to run proceedings from underneath the hood. Hopefully additional details on the hardware will be released soon – by hook or by crook.
