We’re sure that many gamers have griped in the past about the way some games are made. Given that gamers have many different styles and wants, it is impossible for developers to create a game that will satisfy everybody, at least until recently. Dubbed the “Community Game”, this is a 2D game intended for both iOS and Android devices with the twist being that instead of being developed via crowd-sourced funding, it will be developed via crowd-sourced ideas. What this means is that if you feel that you know what should or should not go into a game, you’re free to submit your idea to its developer, Peripheral Games.

Gamers will be part of its planning, pre-production and development phases and ideas can be voted on and could possible see implementation into the final product. This means at the moment, the game is pretty much up in the air so if you think you have what it takes to churn out great ideas for a game, pop on over to Peripheral Games’ website to leave your idea! Its CEO, David, has also informed us that the profits made from the game will be put back into the community in the form of donations and Kickstarter funding, so it looks like everyone could be walking away a winner! We have absolutely no idea what the game will be like but we are certainly looking forward to seeing what the rest of you guys will be able to come up with.
