So the rumored blitzkrieg turned out to be true after all. Following the series of confirmations made by T-Mobile, Sprint, and AT&T today about the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S3 this month, the “Big Red” that is Verizon Wireless announced today that the Galaxy S3 will be coming to its 4G LTE network in the coming weeks. Verizon said in a press release that pre-orders will commence on June 6 at 7 A.M. via Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and online.

Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy S3 will be available in 16 GB and 32 GB models for $199.99 and $249.99 respectively, together with a new two-year contract. But unlike AT&T who just announced today the availability of an exclusive red version of the Galaxy S3, Verizon will only offer two color choices – Pebble Blue and Marble White. Verizon said that customers who are planning to get the device will have to subscribe to a 4G LTE mobile broadband data package starting at $30 monthly access for 2 GB of data.
