if you’re feeling a bit retro and you miss the good old days of vinyl music and record players, perhaps this app dubbed the Vinyl Tap (we’re not sure if this is a play on the name Spinal Tap) might be able to rekindle some memories. Created by the folks at evolver.fm, vinyl tap is basically an app for your iPad that simulates a vinyl record player with the arm, needle and everything. Users will be able to put on their favorite songs and the app will simulate a record player with the vinyl recording spinning while the arm and needle move accordingly. In fact it will even allow you to lift the needle and move it to a different part of the song, much like a regular record player, and flip the record as well as mess around with the settings that lets you play the song at different speeds. Featuring two different designs to choose from, Vinyl Tap is available from the iTunes App Store and will set you back $1.99.
