It is safe to say that users of Android-powered devices have been patient enough to wait for an official version of the highly versatile and capable VLC media player, and it does seem as though the seemingly long wait is about to come to an end. In fact, a message that was sent on the VideoLAN Twitter account made a prediction of sorts of a pending arrival of such a release. While the message does not automatically announce the immediate availability of VLC for Android, it does raise hopes as it is forthright enough to confirm an impending release. At this moment, the official VLC for Android page still claims that the project is under development, but we have no doubt that soon is the keyword. Are you looking forward to the VLC player for Android? Just what kind of video player do you use at the moment, and do you think that you will make the switch over to VLC?
