HTC EVO 3D and EVO Design 4G getting Ice Cream Sandwich by early AugustHTC EVO 3D and EVO Design 4G owners who haven’t bothered with custom ROMs should be glad to know that they will be getting the second latest version of Android very soon. According to an official announcement from Sprint, the two Android phones will be receiving Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich sometime in early August – which hopefully translates to less than a month away. While it’s not Jelly Bean, I guess it’s better than being stuck on Gingerbread.

The update to Ice Cream Sandwich will introduce a bunch of new features for the phone including a brand new UI, Face Unlock, a redesigned camera app, Google Chrome, an improved keyboard, an updated Gmail app, and more. Let’s hope Sprint and HTC can deliver the goods next month. Stay tuend for more details.
