If you’re a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man, you’ll be pretty pleased to know that there’s going to be a crossover series featuring the two beloved blue heroes. According to reports online, it will be a 12-part series that is based on Sonic the Hedgehog, Mega Man and Sonic Universe. No word on what the storyline is going to be or how the crossover happens, but I suspect that will happen at the San Diego Comic Con this week.
There are a number of similarities between both character’s worlds, namely robotic enemies and antagonists with moustaches, so it’s going to be interesting to see how this plays out. And if the comics do well enough, we can only hope it’ll pave the way for a video game (I mean come on – who wouldn’t play a Mega Man X Sonic game??!). Keep your eyes and ears peeled as more details shall be revealed in the future.
