Generally speaking, those who did not make it to the Google I/O Conference this year definitely did not receive a free Nexus 7 tablet to play around with, and will have to wait patiently like any good customer would for the Nexus 7 to hit the general market. Well, it seems that we want to play the harbinger of good news, take note that the Nexus 7 tablet’s shipping date has been reduced to just 1 to 2 weeks instead of the original 3 weeks to a month. Not only that, the Nexus 7 will also come with Android 4.1.1 right out of the box.

A fortnight’s wait at most would mean Google is able to stick to their original schedule of rolling out the Nexus 7 tablet officially within the middle of this month, and those who have taken some time off to check out the Staples website for the Nexus 7, you would have realized that the Nexus 7 has a July 12th to July 17th range of dates for its launch. Are you excited about picking up the Nexus 7?
