There are no doubt users out there who prefer the tactile feedback and familiarity of physical keyboards on their phones, but at the same time want smartphone functionality as well. If you think you fall into that category, photos of the Pantech Star Q have emerged and appears to be headed Verizon’s way as the successor to the Pantech Breakout. The phone is expected to sport a 4” display and a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 process under its hood with 4G LTE capabilities, Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and a rather disappointing 3MP rear-facing camera. Apart from its rather impressive processor, the rest of the specs do leave a bit to be desired, but then again, assuming the leaked info is accurate, it will only cost $99 on contract which we have to say is pretty decent for a 4G LTE phone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 on board. No word on when it will be launched, but be sure to stay tuned as we keep our eyes and ears peeled for an official announcement, which hopefully won’t be too far off.
