Apple logoYou know that Apple is a company ripe for the pickings of rumor mongers, pardon the pun, but it is true. After all, they have built their brand presence up to a stage where it is nearly difficult to ignore any movement or new device from the computing giant. The iPhone 5 (or new iPhone if you are part of that camp) is set to create new sales records assuming history is a decent indicator of future performance, and there has been a fair number of leaks and rumors associated with the iPhone 5, with some holding water while others are plain rubbish. The latest bit of rumor would be the iPhone 5 being put up for pre-order sometime in September – the 12th of September, if you want to be exact.

Have you ever wondered whether a September 11th release date with a special Patriot Edition might be insensitive? Just food for thought. The same rumor mill also pointed to an international iPhone 5 release on October 5th. All in all, we just look forward to an official announcement from the folks at Apple themselves once they are done with the legal wrangling with Samsung at the courts.
