Last week we reported on the rumor that instead of the next-gen iPhone sporting a smaller 19-pin dock connector, it would now instead feature an even smaller dock connector with 8-pins. Whether that is real remains to be seen although thanks to a recent video, it shows a user navigating to a page in Apple’s online store where a mini-dock to dock connector adapter was shown. Now it has been suggested in the past that if the mini-dock connectors were true, Apple was expected to offer a convertor which should help with the transition and offer continued support for third-party accessory makers (assuming it fits, of course). This is why an adapter isn’t exactly a stretch of the imagination. Of course it is more than likely that this video is a fake, but what do you guys think? We have been fooled by some pretty realistic renderings in the past, so if video was indeed a fake, we wouldn’t exactly be surprised either.
